Alyson Dunlop Shanes is an organiser of our conference.

Rev. Mtr. Alyson Dunlop Shanes is a theologian and exorcist, with a classics degree from the University of Glasgow. She has had a variety of experiences across the board of the supernatural.  This led Alyson to her interest in supernatural religion, beliefs, and experiences, which is the focus of her talks.  She heads Supernatural Secrets Scotland, researching anomalous events. She has appeared on TV and radio discussing various mystical and otherworldly subjects.  Alyson also hosts and produces her own radio show, ADX-Files.

PROPHETS, ORACLES, AND SEERS

Our ancient ancestors consulted prophets who were inspired by divine beings. These priests and priestesses were given various titles, such as Oracle, Seer, and Sybil.
Alyson looks at prophets in the ancient world and discusses their God-given visions, which offered insights to those who requested the guidance of their chosen deity.  

Bio:
Alyson runs Supernatural Secrets Scotland & Scotwitch FaceBook Groups, co-organises The Scottish UFO & Paranormal Conference, and hosts ADX-Files Radio Show. She is a priest with the Old Catholic and Apostolic Church (a Liberal Catholic Church). She runs Glasgow Pilgrims, visiting various denominations of churches in and around Glasgow. Alyson also founded the Glasgow University Pagan Society and studied Classics at the University of Glasgow, where she focused on ancient religions and magic. Her spiritual practices are mystical in nature. In addition to attending Catholic Masses, Alyson regularly practices the rosary and chakra meditation. She is planning to open a church dedicated to Mary: Our Lady of the Mystical Rose, which will practice the Catholic Mass, the Rosary, Prophecy, and Healing. She is a healer and exorcist. She considers herself to be a Liberal Christian with aspects of Pagan, Gnostic, and Spiritualist beliefs. Alyson is also married to Ian Shanes, a Spiritualist Psychic Medium.
